Happy Friday, everyone! We made it through our first week of April and another week of the quarantine life. Overall, it was a good week in the Jenkins household and the evidence of God’s faithfulness was all around us, even in the midst of difficult moments.
Today I was reminded again that the kindness of others is very real during this time. A few weeks ago Tyler and I finally gathered up the leaves in our yard and set them aside to burn. We never got around to making the fire because Tyler experienced another bad episode with his back. This afternoon my neighbor (who is the best neighbor in the world!) and her grandson moved the leaves into our ditch and built a fire. This act of selflessness filled me with gratitude! We are continually blessed by Darlene who is always looking for ways to serve others. When I think of selfless people she is one of the first to come to mind.
Thank you Darlene and Brayden for your act of kindness. We love you! #ThoughtofThanks
Further, thank you to all healthcare workers for your tremendous sacrifice! Thank you for risking your own safety for the sake of saving lives. Thank you to law enforcement, first responders, firefighters, and the leaders in our government! Thank you for also risking your lives and working overtime to lead our nation through the uncertainty.
Join me in sharing your gratitude through the COVID19 pandemic by posting something(s) you are currently thankful for using the tag #ThoughtofThanks and #StillWaterBlog. Thank you Lord for your many blessings! Sending you all lots of loves and prayers for safety and health at home.
