Lately, God has been opening doors that I didn’t even know were there!

Not only has He opened my spiritual eyes & ears & begun teaching me how to find treasures hidden in the secret place, he has literally been opening physical doors for me to go & share His glory.

My ultimate career dream is to be an author & speaker, to run a ministry & share this crazy story that’s being written in my life. I desire to speak & share my testimony as much as possible but while I’m awaiting my physical healing, however I’m simply not well enough to seek out opportunities.

Not surprisingly, the Lord is answering my request to “USE THIS PAIN FOR YOUR KINGDOM” by bringing opportunities to me & working out the logistics.

In November I had the opportunity to work a Chrysalis retreat & get on stage to share my story. Although it was too physically demanding to stay for the whole weekend, God made sure I was there enough to do the job He asked 🙂

At the end of January I got hit hard with the flu. The flu can be miserable & tough on even the healthiest people…imagine catching it when you’re already dealing with longterm sickness?! I am thankful that I was able to fight it out at home. I continued to flood my body with an abundance of juiced greens, beets, & watermelon. I ate as much fruit as I could handle & drank tons of lemon water & my onion/garlic tea which fights the flu/cold amazingly.

 

Over a month later I’m still feeling weaker & worse than my norm but last year I definitely would have been hospitalized… a few years ago it may have been life threatening. Thank you Jesus! This time became a blessing… I was able to spend more time truly at the feet of Jesus, soaking in his quiet presence, asking Him for wisdom & dreams… & boy did he answer!

 

On February 9-10, my church telecast the IF: Gathering which is an international women’s conference held in Austin, TX. I was blessed with the wonderful opportunity to get on stage & share some of what Jesus has walked with me through. I was still very sick in the days leading up to the event. I knew I wouldn’t be able to be there for the whole conference but I felt so strongly in my spirit that I HAD to be there. Moments before we left for church my pain greatly increased… I was doubled over in my parents kitchen… still the Holy Spirit was telling me you HAVE to be there. The night before I spoke I barely slept, experienced worsening pain & had dreams that felt like spiritual warfare. Satan did not want me there & I believe he tried everything he could to stop me.

 

But we all know the truth, our GOD IS SO MUCH GREATER THAN ANY FORCE OF DARKNESS & by His strength alone I was able to complete the task requested of me 🙂 And I absolutely loved it- such a blast! Oh & I LOVED the worship & speakers at the conference 🙂 it was a very blessed weekend!

 

Flash forward one more weekend & I find myself at a Saturday morning 9 am conference at Lakeside Worship Center… a church I have NEVER been to nor did I know anyone at. I went by myself because Tyler had to work. My friend, Christy (who I had yet to meet in person), invited me to the weekend conference. I knew I couldn’t go on Friday but prayed that night, “Lord if I am supposed to be there tomorrow make it very clear. Let me know for sure, with no confusion if you want me there.” When I woke up on Saturday there was a very clear message in my spirit… you must GO. So I went. Having zero idea what to expect!

 

Friends… I am planning to share that testimony another day because the Holy Spirit SHOWED UP that morning & rocked my world like never before. I was truly, physically touched by Spirit… hit by a heavy glory & prayed over for new organs from the storehouses of Heaven. To say that morning was incredible is an understatement. There are no words to capture HIs glory!!

Anyway, in attendance that day was Brother Ron Miller, uncle of my friend Christy, & host of a radio show called Bible Breakfast Club. Brother Ron runs an impressive ministry about 40 minutes from where I live. Without knowing much about me or my story, Brother Ron’s wife asked me to be a guest on their show that week! Eagerly I said YES without considering the logistics. Once I found out where the station was located I said that was too far for me to travel on my own… I could not physically do it.

 

Christy quickly volunteered to take me… and just like that, God opened the door! Hallelujah!

The radio show was a blast!! Totally up my alley as someone who loves public speaking & candid conversation. Satan tried to attack me that day as well…whatever, I’ve had enough of that guy… doesn’t he know my Jesus already has the victory?!!

 

It’s funny because over the last month my physical body has been weaker than normal yet, God has used that to show His glory in the most amazing ways. When I am weak then I am strong! Our God is a HEALER. Nothing is impossible for Him!

 

My friends.. if He can find a way to use me, in spite of my circumstances, in spite of my sickness, in spite of my weakness, in spite of my shortcomings… what is stopping Him from using you?! When we invite Him in.. when we give Him permission… when we give Him consent to move in our lives AND we give Him our whole hearts, I promise that JESUS WILL MOVE FOR YOU & HE WILL USE YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE!!

 

The more you get to know Him, the more it seems He appears & works & speaks & ministers in every tiny detail around you. If you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can literally MOVE MOUNTAINS. We have the power of the gospel, of the Holy Spirit WITHIN US! Why aren’t we utilizing it? Why aren’t we fighting as fierce, unstoppable warriors for HIM?! Let us look beyond the man made veil of  “church-ianity” and let us seek CHRIST.

 

Jesus is just TOO GOOD to me!! I don’t have enough words to praise my Father for choosing me to do His work. Oh, I love Him and I cannot get enough!!!
