A poem of peace

(Numbers 6:24-26)

24 “The Lord bless you

    and keep you;

25 the Lord make his face shine on you

    and be gracious to you;

26 the Lord turn his face toward you

    and give you peace.”’

Father, whatever your will
Whatever your way

I will follow you, God

I will choose to praise.

I’ll dance in your moonlight

And in your sun shining bright upon my face

I’ll spin, twirl, raise my arms, shake

Using every fiber of this being

to shout out your Holy name.

Such radiance you give

When we set our eyes on you

With faces that glimmer hope

For we are never covered in shame

I will seek to trust you more!

More with every passing

…minute…

…Hour….

…day…

Heart that beats to give YOU thanks

Even when it can’t fathom

Your will, Your ways.

Why does this fear arise inside?

Why does the doubt seep it’s way in?

You’ve kept my heart in perfect peace

And undoubtedly

You’ll provide again & again.
