Jumping for Joy

Somehow, someway, The Lord is providing. He is opening new doors when I had become accustomed to them only being shut. He is comforting my heart that mourns over lost time and lost opportunities by giving me new ones. Placing treasures into my lap without me even searching.

I do not believe in coincidence. Not when I serve a God who has seamlessly planned all things to work together for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28). So, how amazing is it that just 3 days after my last post about discovering dreams was published, I’m now getting the opportunity to be a blog contributor for another site. A new audience, a bigger arena, another way to share the story God is writing through my life.

Saturday would have been my college graduation had I not become ill and been forced to drop out nearly two years ago. Yes, I was sad. But on that very day God was facilitating conversations between the team at Anything Christian and myself, making plans for me to start contributing to their blog. God was taking all that I missed out on and showing me that He has something much better.

For now, I will be blogging on their site weekly. Many of my first posts will be things I have already shared on Still Waters. I cannot wait to see where this opportunity takes me and my writing. Even if it only lasts for one week, it feels amazing to have been given a chance to DO SOMETHING. I hope everyone will go check out this amazing website, not just to read blogs but also to find new music, books, events, and organizations that may spark your interest.
