“But The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3

**During my time of devotion this morning, I felt God lay this prayer upon my heart pushing me to share it with you. Maybe this is a prayer that also applies to your life. As believers we must take up our crosses daily, resurrecting our old selves & rising brand-new with Christ.**

Dear Lord,

Oh God, thank you for being a faithful Father—for wiping away my tears, fears and granting my heart peace in knowing that you protect me from all evil. You are my one and only true source of strength, hope, perseverance and of course, joy. ALL THAT I AM and ALL THAT I HAVE is YOURS…I belong to YOU! My relationships belong to you, my love belongs to you, my heart belongs to you. My talents, abilities, successes and skills belong to you. Even my insecurities and weaknesses belong to you (you overcome them!) My finances belong to you (may I manage that money in a way that brings you Honor and Praise.) My friendships and family belong to you. My past, my present and most importantly, my future all belong to you, Lord.

God I trust you with my whole heart and I pray that in all things it is YOUR KINGDOM COME and YOUR WILL BE DONE on this Earth. Father, grant me patience and serenity to accept my Earthly circumstances and the ability to rejoice in ANYTHING that comes my way, trusting that your will is being accomplished through my life… knowing that your light outshines all darkness. I cannot control so many aspects of this life, but I can control how I respond to the storms. I do have the power to dedicate it all to you… I WILL choose to take every situation and turn it into an opportunity to reveal your glory, to be your disciple and to praise you for the way your Mighty Hand transforms ashes into beauty. You are the master Potter and I am merely your clay. Create a masterpiece through me Father, for I surrender ALL to you. Teach me your ways and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me day by day. Give me your strength to persevere through evil in order to glorify your Great Name to the ends of the Earth.

Jesus, with ALL that I am I will trust and obey your word, seeking your truth in everything around me. With ALL that I am I will love you with every breath that I breathe. With ALL that I have I will be your devoted disciple, following your lead, yearning to become more like you with each passing day. Father, HERE I AM– USE ME for your glory! I’m ready for whatever you have in store. No turning back. My heart beats for you, my soul longs for you, HERE I AM, Lord. I’m waiting you with my eyes wide open and heart overflowing.
